!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Since this was a control course, I had to accellerate hard then stomp and feel the ABS, go in hard and feel the understeer my way around a wet figure 8 course, and in the end, a short but twisty autocross course. It was a lot of fun, but it also showed me that, A) I have much to learn and B) a FWD 250hp 270wtq was a handful.

Here's a question, how much body roll is fine? I'm sure sway bars and even suspension mods will help but I find that the ST is already stiff and low enough stock. Necessary or not?
So what does this mean for me? A 2-day track advanced driving course and performance mods!
For the course, it'll take place at the Canadian Tire Motorspots Park, an hour north of Toronto. $300 for two days sounds good!
For the mods, I have a few things on order, and since its hard to source these in Canada, I will be ordering it and shipping the items to Niagara Falls, New York. With a long drive across the border, I'll make a day trip to pick up the goodies, and stock up on some brownie points with my lady - been spending too much time with Ms. Blurple. ;)
Cobb Accessport V3 tune - $500 (easy hp and tq)
Cobb short shifter - $99
Cobb Intake and tubing - $299 (probably the least cost effective mod, but but but pshhshhhhshhhhhhhhhhh pshhshshhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhh!!!)
Rally Armor mud flaps - $140 (I'm still unsure on these flaps, but I can always resell it to my fellow Canadian Foci owners)
The Focus has a 3 year warranty, so down the line, I'll explore a downpipe, exhaust and possibly an intake runner plate that seems to be making !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
I hate being bit by the modding bug. But its so fun shopping and doing research, trying to justify to yourself!

Even your license plate knows it...
Kidding of course. I only poke fun because the ST was what I tested right before buying my FR-S.

I'm jelly - I'd love to take a performance driving course. But wouldn't the COBB Accessport you mentioned void your warranty?

No kidding! When I first saw it I chuckled to myself. I did test drive a FR-S before buying the ST, I loved the feel and how everything just works in the cabin. Seating position is fantastic, the shifter in the right place. But the back seats don't fit anyone and good effin' luck getting my hockey (bcoz Canadian, eh?) gear into the car, let alone my hockey sticks!
As for the plate, I intend to change the plates next renewal to TQSTEER or similar. :)

Well, last weekend I drove from Kamloops to Whistler to take my brother a bunch of mountain bike gear, including one of his bikes. Wheel and handlebars had to come off, but it fit well.

I think you'll be pleased with the Rally Armor mud flaps. I've got a set of the urethane ones on my STI and they are awesome for helping keep the snow & salt off the fenders.
